Centaurs are insects

It may be counterintuitive, but I’ve always found blogging difficult. I mean, who wants to hear my random thoughts? Which makes zero sense coming from an author who wants to make his livelihood from writing. Maybe it’s an insecurity thing. As authors, we sit behind our screens, typing away, trying to make a cogent and entertaining story, but at heart, many of us are quasi introverts. Meet people and have them judge us right to our faces? ((Shivers)) Yet, there’s no better way to engage people and create an audience.

For that matter, is blogging passé? I don’t know. I’ve read many opinions that go either way. Regardless, I’m going to give a concerted effort… Hmm, is the term “concerted effort” too cliché? After all, most know what it means but have never looked up the definition of “concerted.” Oh well, I’ll go with it; I’ve embrace a cliché or two over the years.

Where was I? Ah, yes. I’m going to give a concerted effort to write more on my blog. If nothing else so I can layout random thoughts.

Here’s one:

Centaurs are, by their basic description, insects. The word "insect" comes from the Latin word insectum, meaning "with a notched or divided body." Centaurs have six legs and two torsos. Sounds like an insect to me.
